1. What should I expect during your first consultation with me?

Your first consultation is crucial for me to understand your dog's and you needs. During this meeting, we will:

  • Get to know you and your dog.
  • Discuss your dog's history, behaviour, and specific issues.
  • Evaluate your dog's current behaviour and training level.
  • Listen to your concerns so we have a clear plan ahead.
  • Set goals and discuss expectations.
  • Discuss next steps 

2. How can I pay?

Payment is available via the website's Order page (with credit or debit cards which is encrypted via "Stripe" solution or via PayPal) or direct bank transfer, Customers based in Spain can also pay via Bizum or in cash. 

3. What's included in the 6 week support program?

Any questions, concerns or a simple clarification from the program/training plan you may have, I am happy to answer via voice or video messages (WhatsApp, Messenger etc.). If you need a detailed, written report on a new program, please book the "Follow-up consultation" service 

4. How long does the behaviour modification program take?

The duration of any behaviour modification varies depending on several factors:

  • The specific behaviour issues being addressed.
  • Your dog's age, current mood and emotional state.
  • The consistency of your practice of the recommendations.
  • The severity of the problems.
  • Your commitment to the training process. 

Most clients see initial improvements within a few weeks, but lasting behaviour change typically requires several months of consistent work, with a life-time need for consistency so as not to revert to previous ways.

5. Do you provide ongoing support?

Yes, ongoing support is a very important part of the process. I provide guidance between sessions and am available to help you work through any challenges that arise during training via written, video or voice messages,

6. What if my dog doesn't respond to training?

Every dog is unique and responds differently. If initial approaches aren't working as quickly as we'd like, I'll adjust the plan and try different techniques suited to your dog's specific needs and learning style.

7. What is the online questionnaire?

For behaviour modification and balancing core emotions for your dog, I use an online questionnaire to be able to gather all the information that is important and necessary for the report as well as the recommendations and/or training plan. The form is very easy to use and does not take more than 3 minutes to fill out. 

8. What do you do with my data after we finish working together?

Every conversation, report etc is 100% confidential and as per the Privacy Policy set out on this website.

9. Do you work with all breeds/ages of dogs/puppies?

Yes. :-) All types of dogs are welcome 

10. How do I know if my dog needs a behaviorist vs. a trainer?  

In general, "training" is needed if you need help with obedience, agility, listening to commands, e.g. sit, stay, loose leash walking, call-back etc. 

Behaviour consultation is needed when unwanted behaviours (reactivity, phobias, aggression, excessive barking etc.) are observed and help is needed to modify these 

11. What are your qualifications and credentials?

12. How does your "Foster-Train" program work?

This program is for those who are struggling with training their dog: whether it is due to time or patience or any other reason. We have a discussion about your needs, I take your dog on board and I train them to what you need them to do*. The time and the cost depends on your requirements, the results depends on the time I can have the dog with me :-) 

This program is limited to Spain, or in the United Kingdom. 

* Please note: this program does not include Service Dog preparation 

13. Do you offer refunds?  

I have never had a client who requested a refund as they have been all 100% happy with the results so this is a tricky question but should this ever occur: 

For the one-off services I cannot offer refund as I have no way of knowing if any of the recommendations or training plans I document and share with you have been followed or not. 

For the Full Package services, refunds are offered if all recommendations from my report have been followed and feedback shared regularly with me so next steps/adjustments etc. can be made and you see absolutely no improvement whatsoever in your dog after 8 weeks of working together.
